The School of Applied Psychology is dedicated to developing emotionally intelligent, socially responsible, and professionally skilled individuals with a strong understanding of human behaviour and mental wellbeing. Combining academic knowledge with practical learning, the School prepares students for careers in mental health, counselling, behavioural sciences, education, and related fields.
Student will be evaluated on each subject / paper (theory/practical) under both:
a) Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE): 40% Weightage CIE includes written class test, assignments, seminars, tutorials and/or laboratory assignments.
b) End-semester Examination (ESE): 60% Weightage Eight ESE will be held, one at the end of each semester.
Course Duration:
15-17 weeks per semester with 20-26 classes of 1 hr duration per week
Course Timings:
9:30 am to 4:00 pm, six days a week (1st and 3rd Saturdays are off days)
Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: A state-sponsored scholarship supporting meritorious students from economically weaker sections pursuing higher education in West Bengal.
WB Student Credit Card Scheme: A loan-linked financial assistance scheme enabling students to meet education-related expenses with easy repayment terms after completing their course.
Aikyashree Scholarship: A dedicated scholarship for students from minority communities in West Bengal, aimed at supporting their continued access to higher education.
